Maple Grove is on the lookout for civic-minded individuals ready to take the wheel in shaping the city's transportation future. The Transit and Mobility Committee, an advisory group to the City Council and staff, announced it's seeking five residents to help navigate the evolving landscape of transit, walking, biking, and rolling in the community. The city took to social media to broadcast the opportunity, laying out the commitment as a two-year term and casting a wide net for applicants with either experience or a budding interest in transit and mobility issues.
Interested parties have until Thursday, by 4:30 p.m. to throw their hat into the ring. According to the City of Maple Grove's Facebook post, the successful applicants will "share ideas, provide feedback, and help guide the city's future transit and mobility efforts."
For those interested in applying, details are available on Maple Grove's official website.
