Two men experienced a harrowing event in Holly Hills when they were forcibly removed from their car by masked gunmen, according to a recent incident report from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD). The carjacking unfolded on the 5600 block of South Grand around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, where a 37-year-old man and his 21-year-old companion were sitting inside a Black Kia Stinger before being confronted by the assailants.
The victims reported to police that two men wearing ski masks and brandishing guns abruptly demanded that they get out of the car. The situation developed with terrifying speed as one man quickly got into the black Kia and drove away, while another followed in a black Infinity. The cars vanished, leaving the robbed people without not only a means of transportation but also an unquestionable sense of security.
