The Memphis Police Department is actively seeking a female suspect in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred in the vicinity of the 2900 block of South Third Street, as revealed by local news outlets. Action News 5 reported the incident occurred last Saturday at approximately 9:44 p.m.
Responding after the incident, Memphis Police discovered a woman who had sustained gunshot wounds and was subsequently rushed to the Regional One Hospital but succumbed to her injuries. Just before officers arrived, having been obtained by Memphis Police, WREG mentions that investigators procured surveillance footage from a nearby business, which is believed to show the alleged assailant.
