Starting tomorrow, MoDOT will begin its repair work at 8 p.m., targeting up to two left lanes at Spencer Creek. Come daylight at 5 a.m. Friday morning, the repairs are expected to conclude for that segment. However, the respite will be brief as the process repeats itself the following night with two left lanes closing at 8 p.m. Friday, and then shifting to two right lanes. These closures are not expected to lift until 9 a.m. Saturday morning, according to an announcement on MoDOT's website.
But wait, there's more. A third round of closures on westbound I-70 at Belleau Creek is slated for March 7. In this phase, up to three westbound lanes will shutter at 8 p.m. and are scheduled to reopen at 9 a.m. the following day, Saturday, March 8.
