Security footage captured a man arriving on foot, who seemed to purposefully linger around the area before getting into the van and driving off along Chef Menteur Highway. The man sought by the New Orleans Police Department is described as a black male, wearing a red t-shirt adorned with gold and white lettering, a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants with multiple zippered pockets, and red and black sneakers. 

The van was later found, although details surrounding its recovery has not been made public. The New Orleans Police Department has not provided information on the condition of the vehicle upon recovery or if any items were missing from inside the van. The focus remains on apprehending the individual responsible for the vehicular theft.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward, especially if they recognize the suspect’s clothing or appearance.
