Early this morning traffic on Highway 64 was disrupted when a Fayette County Public Schools bus was rear-ended in Oakland. WREG reported that the incident was not the bus driver's fault, and no students or the driver were injured. They were safely evacuated after the collision.
The crash caused delays in the morning school transportation plans. FOX13 Memphis reported that some students might experience delays getting to school due to the accident, which occurred just before 6:30 a.m.
An alternative bus arrived to transport the students to their schools, as per the Action News 5 report.
