A double shooting occurred in Gwinnett County, resulting in a woman’s death and a man’s injury, according to local law enforcement. The Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) responded to the 1800 block of Ardsley Place in Norcross around 10 a.m. Sunday last week. Officers found a deceased woman and a man with gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, GCPD spokesperson, Cpl. Dustin Martin-Young, confirmed the incident appeared to be an isolated domestic situation and reassured the public that there was no ongoing threat to the community.
