According to the Collierville Police Department (CPD), around 6:14 p.m. yesterday, a situation rapidly escalated after a suspect fled from the car directly into the trampoline park. Action News 5 reports that the commotion culminated in an officer sustaining a minor laceration to his face.
The CPD had to quickly respond after one of the individuals decided to run inside the business, causing the patrons and staff of Urban Air to be abruptly thrust into the fray. As reported by FOX13 Memphis, the officer was assaulted during the incident, which prompted police action and the arrest of one person on the charge of assaulting a law enforcement officer.
This incident occurred at the 10337 E. Shelby Drive area and is under investigation by local authorities.
