
Tragedy struck Oklahoma City this past Friday when authorities were dispatched to a scene that would be marked as the city's fourth homicide of the year. Oklahoma City Police Department were called to the 2400 block of S. MacArthur Blvd. at approximately 1:00 p.m. following reports of a person unresponsive inside a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Sinh Nguyen, a 55-year-old Asian male, dead from what was confirmed to be a gunshot wound. The investigation into this incident, classified as 25-0010154, quickly unfolded as authorities pieced together information leading them to a suspect. Within the span of just a few hours, police conducted a traffic stop near NW 50th and MacArthur, apprehending the named suspect, Angel Luis Mares, a Hispanic male born on September 22, 2004, as reported by the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Mares, who is now in custody, was quickly arrested by the Oklahoma City Police Department as part of their effort to find the suspect.
