
A woman in Phoenix was rescued by firefighters last night after a blaze engulfed her home near 83rd Avenue and Osborn Road. According to 12 News, emergency responders were called to the scene around 7:45 p.m., where they found the woman trapped inside. The Phoenix Fire Department was able to rapidly extricate her from the burning structure.
The victim was transported to a local burn unit with multiple injuries. Reports say that, while she suffered burns, she is expected to survive this ordeal. An investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
As per the AZ Family, the house situated on Clarendon Avenue, just south of Indian School Road, became an inferno that evening. Firefighters upon arrival were greeted by a scene of smoke and flames billowing from the residence. No other individuals were found in the house, and fortunately, no firefighters were injured while combating the blaze.
