Phoenix's Esplanade Office Complex Unveils $45 Million Renovation with New Amenities and RestaurantsSource: Google Street View

The Esplanade office complex in the Camelback Corridor has completed a $45 million renovation. Led by Monarch Alternative Capital and Tourmaline Capital Partners, the project added 30,000 square feet of updated amenity space, including a conference center, tenant lounge, and fitness center, as reported by ABC15. Additionally, three new restaurants will be opening, providing more dining options for the complex's 90-plus tenants.

A key component of The Esplanade's renovation is a 16,000-square-foot central amenity building that includes Hearsay, an all-day restaurant operated by Episcope Hospitality from Chicago. The restaurant features a listening room and a vinyl collection, and also offers food and beverage services to private offices via the property’s network. Additionally, a new coffee shop, Perks, and a range of collaborative spaces have been added to the conference center. According to AZ Big Media, by spring 2025, The Esplanade will also introduce The Little Pickle, 151 Tavern, and Camello, which will add 10,000 square feet to the complex’s updated lower level.

Onsite, a workplace experience platform, is bringing a touch of high-tech hospitality to The Esplanade. Tasking a team of five hospitality experts with the creation of "social workspaces," Onsite aims to transform offices into hubs buzzing with amenities. "The upgrades set a new bar for office amentization in the market," said Bryan Taute, executive vice president at CBRE, a tenant at the complex. These enhancements are designed to aid corporations in attracting and retaining top talent, as Taute told AZ Big Media.

With tenants including Merrill Lynch, Cushman & Wakefield, and UBS Financial, The Esplanade's remodel extends beyond aesthetics. It represents a shift in office culture for the Camelback Corridor’s business community. The second floor of the central amenity building offers a dedicated fitness and wellness space, connected to the café and restaurant below. This mix of amenities and collaborative spaces is designed to enhance the office experience and support a productive work environment.
