According to the Town of Queen Creek, the Town Council greenlit the funding for both the design and the move of the dog park last Wednesday, ensuring a seamless transition with no downtime for the dog park's patrons.
In the move, the dog park will take over a multipurpose field at Founders' Park, offering more seating and shade for pet owners, alongside separate areas for different sized dogs. This upgrade comes courtesy of the community's growth and a necessity for more substantial infrastructure to support the Queen Creek Police Department's expansion. Plans are underway to directly align the opening of the new dog park with the closure of the existing one, as stated by the Town of Queen Creek.

Currently, Pocket Park for Pups maintains its schedule, opening from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. most days, and starting at noon on Tuesdays.
