Looking to switch up your crafting game or pare down your supply closet? Hardwood Creek Library has got you covered with a community craft supply swap event set for March 1. Declutter your space or find new treasures—either way, it's a win for local crafters.
Donations of art and craft supplies that are still in good condition are welcome at the library starting Saturday, February 22, through Wednesday, February 26. However, they've clearly stated to please not bring any aerosols, hazardous materials, food containers, or already opened cans of paint or glue. It's a charity-minded way to make sure to not only give, but also possibly gain some new inspiration for future projects.
On the day of the swap, which is Saturday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., attendees can browse and choose from a variety of contributions. According to the library's announcement, any items left over at the conclusion of the event will be donated locally or used for upcoming library programs, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just starting out, this swap is an ideal opportunity to refresh your toolkit without breaking the bank. And should you have questions about the event or want to know more about donation guidelines, feel free to reach out via email or give the library a call at 651-275-8500. They're ready to help make sure you find exactly what you need—or to get rid of what you don't.
