
An investigation initiated by a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has recently led to the arrest of a San Bernardino man for the possession of child sexual abuse material. The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Tyler Lyttle, is a registered sex offender and is currently on felony probation in San Bernardino County. The information was provided by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and detailed on their official website. Detectives of the Fontana Station investigated on Tuesday, leading to Lyttle's arrest the next day.
Working on the tip-off, authorities were quickly able to verify and eventually locate Lyttle. He was found in the city of San Bernardino, where he was apprehended without incident on the morning of February 19. During the arrest process, detectives also managed to recover further evidence pertinent to their case. Lyttle is being held without bail at the Central Detention Center according to the sheriff's department.
The offenses Lyttle was arrested for include the possession of child sexual abuse material, covered under California Penal Code 311.11(a), as well as the violation of probation, as per Penal Code 1203.2.
