
The cold case unit of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is requesting public assistance in an ongoing investigation into an unsolved homicide from June 2007. In a recent social media post, the department provided details about the case of an unidentified male whose body was found in the Mississippi River, seeking potential new leads.

The body of an unidentified black male, believed to be between 16-30 years old, was found in the Mississippi River near Arsenal Street; he was wearing a t-shirt with 'Amerikus' and 'Triple Crown' logos, blue jeans, Dickies boots, and a wristwatch featuring the Star Wars The Phantom Menace logo, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
