
An 18-year-old identified as Amani Terrell Jordan was taken into custody in Antioch, after being suspected in the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old in Hendersonville, Tennessee, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the arrest following a placement of Jordan on the state's Most Wanted list along with a $2,500 reward offer for information leading to his capture, as reported WSMV.
The Hendersonville Police Department issued a warrant for Jordan on second-degree homicide charges, stemming from the Jan. 12 incident on Vulco Drive where the young Nashville teen was killed; the TBI had previously issued an alert on social media emphasizing that Jordan should be considered "armed and dangerous," as mentioned on WSMV, and asking the public for any information that could lead to his arrest, the social media statement by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on X obtained by a source found here.
Following his arrest, which took place early this morning, Jordan's previous legal issues have come to light; he was reportedly found guilty of vandalism and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to court documents from Nashville and these details were shared by WKRN.
