
A high-speed pursuit on I-75 in South Georgia ended tragically when a stolen Range Rover crashed into a tractor-trailer, killing all three occupants of the vehicle, according to the Crisp County Sheriff's Office. The chase began in Houston County and ended in Crisp County, near GA Mile Marker 103, as reported by Atlanta News First.
The crash occurred on Thursday last week, with the Range Rover suffering significant damage after hitting the back of the truck. The Georgia State Patrol is leading the investigation, as disclosed by FOX 5 Atlanta. The identities and ages of the three deceased individuals are still being determined. The driver of the tractor-trailer was examined by medical personnel and later released.
The sheriff's office expressed condolences, saying, "CCSO offers our sincere sympathy to those affected by these tragedies," in a statement obtained by FOX 5 Atlanta.
