A recent hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a 36-year-old man, Aaron Hornedo, has resulted in the arrest of a 19-year-old suspect, Deena Jean Marie Kneece, citing Phoenix authorities.
The tragic incident unfolded on Feb. 27th near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Peoria Avenue, as reported by authorities per FOX10 Phoenix. Hornedo was purportedly crossing the street within a marked crosswalk when he was violently struck by a vehicle. When officers arrived at the scene around 6 a.m., they discovered him seriously injured and subsequently delivered to a nearby hospital, succumbing to his injuries there, the police say.
