
An early morning collision in Clinton County claimed the life of a 27-year-old woman when her SUV was struck by a tractor. The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the fatal incident, which occurred around 8:56 a.m. at the intersection of Second Creek Road and Tar Pike in Marion Township yesterday, as reported by WLWT.
Shelby L. Miller, a local from Wilmington, was driving her SUV eastbound on Second Creek Road when a tractor, failing to stop at a stop sign while traveling northwest on Tar Pike, hit her vehicle. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the tractor remained unharmed, shared the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The tractor involved was identified as a 2011 John Deere 7230R, operated by a 34-year-old man, according to WCPO.
Local authorities, including the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and Blanchester Fire and EMS, assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol at the crash site.
