
In a somber turn of events, a man has been struck and killed by a car on Hampton Avenue in a late-night incident. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has now identified the pedestrian as 61-year-old Brian McKenna, with notification already provided to his family.
The fatal collision occurred on Saturday when McKenna was hit by a vehicle while crossing Hampton, mid-block, between Nottingham and Murdoch. The call for an accident came in at around 1:06 AM, and upon their arrival, authorities found the man grievously wounded. The man, now known to be McKenna, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
