At last Thursday's city council meeting, Acworth welcomed two experienced law enforcement professionals to its public safety team. Chief Mark Cheatham conducted the swearing-in of Captain Tom Elledge and Public Safety Liaison Tina Pallone.
According to the City of Acworth's official release, Elledge brings over 30 years of law enforcement experience. Elledge, who previously served 28 years with the Cobb County Police Department, will now lead the Operations Division of the Acworth Police Department.
Tina Pallone, with 30 years of experience at the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office, steps into the role of Public Safety Liaison.
