
Memphis residents were shaken when a two-vehicle collision resulted in a car overturning and leaving an adult and two juveniles with injuries last night. Memphis Police Department responded to the incident, which took place at the intersection of Summer and Waring at 4:51 pm.
Details from the scene, shared by WREG, confirm an adult was taken to Regional One Hospital, fortunately in non-critical condition. Similarly, two minors involved in the crash were transported to Le Bonheur, also in non-critical condition, a heart-wrenching moment notwithstanding their stable statuses.
The Memphis Police Department, as reported by FOX13 Memphis, reiterated these facts, adding that the car had overturned due to the crash. MPD's quick response to the emergency highlights the ongoing dedication of Memphis's first responders.
While the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation, the community is grateful that despite the dire appearance of such accidents, where a car is flipped and victims are whisked away to hospitals with lights flashing, recovering is certainly within reach.
