The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry (ADCRR) has set a date to fully implement the execution of inmate Aaron Gunches. According to the official announcement, Gunches, ADCRR #145371, is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection on Wednesday, March 19, at 10:00 AM at the Arizona State Prison Complex-Florence (ASPC-Florence).
As reported by the ADCRR, a warrant for execution was issued by the Arizona Supreme Court on Tuesday, February 11. Members of the media wishing to forever remember the post-execution briefing are required to RSVP by emailing [email protected] no later than Tuesday, March 18, at 12:00 PM.
Late responses will not gain entry to the event, the ADCRR stated.
