Upon arrival, they found a 30-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her left leg. The victim was "alert, conscious, breathing" when officers arrived, and medical treatment was provided at the scene, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

The Aggravated Assault Unit is investigating the shooting to determine the events that occurred. The woman's identity has not been released, and there are no details about potential suspects or the motive, as reported by the Atlanta Police Department
