The National Weather Service predicts a pleasant start with today's high reaching near 78 degrees and a westerly breeze picking up, potentially gusting up to 25 mph.
Clear skies will persist into the night with temperatures dropping to around 50, and northwest winds gusting up to 20 mph. On Wednesday, the city will enjoy more sunshine with a high near 73 and winds reaching up to 25 mph. Thursday will also be sunny, with a high around 73 degrees. Although cloud cover will increase on Friday night, with a low of around 57, the rest of the week is expected to remain mostly sunny and warm.
However, as the weekend approaches, chances of rain enter the forecast. Saturday holds a mostly cloudy day with highs near 77, evening brings a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 am. As for Sunday, residents could be looking at a 40 percent chance of rain and storms amidst partial sunshine and highs reaching to 82 degrees.
As we move into the early part of next week, the forecast predicts a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms on Sunday night with partly cloudy skies and lows around 62. On Monday, there is a 40 percent chance of showers, with daytime temperatures around 77, and some sun breaks possible through the cloud cover.
