For mariners, a Small Craft Advisory is in place from 11 AM to 8 PM EDT due to winds later this morning and into this afternoon. Meanwhile, the fire weather situation today is something to keep an eye on, with the National Weather Service advising, "Breezy conditions are expected during the afternoon hours with west to northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph (20 to 30 mph above 2000 feet elevation)."
