Mission Rock, the ambitious development project by the San Francisco Giants and Tishman Speyer, continues to gain traction with a duo of high-profile retail leases and the opening of a beloved city bakery. ConnectCRE reports that Blue Bottle Coffee and Sweetgreen secured 10-year leases in the burgeoning Mission Bay development.
Adding to the neighborhood's allure, Blue Bottle will situate itself in a 2,069-square-foot space at the base of 300 Toni Stone Crossing, which also houses Visa’s Market Support Center. Sweetgreen is set to quickly follow suit, opening at the base of The Canyon, a residential tower at the intersection of Dr. Maya Angelou Lane and Toni Stone Crossing, as reported by The Real Deal. Sweetgreen's location will encompass just under 2,400 square feet. The same source notes that the area is considered "the most vibrant neighborhood in San Francisco," according to CBRE’s Alex Sagues, who facilitated the representation of Mission Rock Partners in the leases.
Not lagging, Arsicault Bakery, a San Francisco staple known for its flaky croissants, has debuted at 1070 Bridgeview Way in Mission Rock, expanding its footprint with its third location. Arsicault owner Armando Lacayo expressed his enthusiasm for the bakery's new outpost, saying, "Our bakery honors traditional pastry-making techniques while Mission Rock represents San Francisco’s vibrant future. The combination feels perfect for this community where tradition and innovation blend together seamlessly," as per The Real Deal.
Social media has been abuzz with the recent announcements. Mission Rock's official Instagram page has excitedly shared the news of Blue Bottle and Sweetgreen's future arrivals. "We’re buzzing with excitement to announce that @bluebottle is joining our neighborhood!" said a recent post about Blue Bottle, promising more information later this year.
