
Boston Police Department has issued a community alert requesting assistance in their ongoing investigation of an assault and battery case that unfolded earlier this week at a local YMCA. According to the alert, the incident occurred on Wednesday, March 12, at approximately 2:28 PM, at the Brighton YMCA located at 615 Washington Street.
The suspect is described as a Black male, sporting short dreadlocks, earrings, and a chain. His outfit consisted of a black shirt embellished with an image of a chain-link fence and basketball hoop, along with black basketball shorts featuring a white stripe and red and black sneakers. Detectives from District D-14 are leading the investigation and, have released images of the individual in question to facilitate his identification.
The Boston Police Department remains diligent in investigating the circumstances of the altercation and has called for those who witnessed the event or have knowledge pertaining to the individual to reach out. Officials have stated, "Anyone with information is urged to contact District D-14 Detectives at (617) 343-4256." For those preferring confidentiality, the department has provided multiple avenues to submit tips anonymously.
