
Last Saturday morning, Boston police arrested Donnell Butler, 36, in Dorchester on charges of breaking into a vehicle. Officers responded to a call at 12 Arcadia Street at 2:01 AM and saw Butler closing the door of the vehicle, according to the Boston Police Department.
Butler attempted to flee by jumping over a fence but was apprehended by officers. After resisting arrest, additional officers assisted in restraining and handcuffing him. Authorities recovered several tools from Butler during a search, including an electric stun gun, screwdrivers, a socket wrench, and a switchblade knife, as reported by the Boston Police Department.
Butler was already on the Boston Police Department’s Most Wanted List with five warrants for breaking and entering, larceny, and related charges. Following his arrest, police added new charges, including nighttime breaking and entering for a felony, possession of burglarious tools, and resisting arrest. Butler is expected to appear in Dorchester Court.
