Got some gently used furniture or housewares that could help someone else make their house a home? Bridging, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting individuals and families transitioning into stable housing, has just expanded its reach with a new location in Plymouth.
According to the City of Brooklyn Park announcement, Bridging's new drop-off point is all set to receive your donations of reusable furniture, mattresses, and other essential household items. To sweeten the deal, and maybe to encourage a few more of us to clear out the clutter, they're offering a weekly incentive to those who drive up: a lucky draw that could net you a $500 gift card to spend at a local retailer.
The new drop zone is located at 12864 Hwy 55, Plymouth, MN 55441, and it's open for your convenience from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Bridging operates with the help of volunteers and relies on community donations, with other locations already established in Roseville and Bloomington.
And if you need more reason to go check them out, save the date for April 26th. Bridging is throwing a Grand Open House to celebrate their new Plymouth location, and it's not just for show; everyone is invited to come and see just how they're making a difference. Expect a special celebration that may just inspire you to become a part of their story of community support and giving back.
