
A three-vehicle hit-and-run incident occurred yesterday on the 3700 block of Bayshore Blvd. The Brisbane Police and Fire Departments were called to the scene around 5:15 AM to find one woman deceased and two other individuals injured, according to a press release from the Brisbane Police Department.
The victims included a 60-year-old female driver who, despite attempts at life-saving efforts, succumbed to her injuries. The second driver, a 35-year-old male, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and is now reported to be in stable condition. The third driver in the accident fled the scene, later identified as a 37-year-old male from Burlingame. The Brisbane Police rapidly apprehended and charged him with offenses including hit-and-run causing injury, hit-and-run causing death, and vehicular manslaughter.
In leading the investigation, Sergeant Giovanni Perez appeals to the public for relevant information, emphasizing the value of surveillance footage or dashcam recordings.
