Brooklyn Park residents might have noticed an unusual ruckus earlier this week, with reports of loud bangs and heightened police activity. But fear not, the commotion was part of a scheduled exercise. On Monday, the Brooklyn Park Police Department in conjunction with the St. Cloud Police Department and the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, conducted tactical training exercises that echoed through the neighborhood.
The training took place at two locations: 4120 85th Ave. N., and in the 8600 block of Mattson Brook Lane, both situated in Brooklyn Park, the sessions focused on various breaching techniques, a skill vital for law enforcement during emergency interventions, as reported by the Brooklyn Park Police Department.
