
A Bustang bus accident in southwest Colorado has left the driver injured. According to 9News, the Colorado State Patrol responded to the incident on Highway 62 in San Miguel County just before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The investigation indicated that while navigating a right curve, the bus veered off the road's right side, ascending an embankment before tipping onto its left side.
As detailed by The Denver Post, the rollover crash occurred near milepost 2, injuring only the driver, whose condition is yet to be disclosed. The Bustang service, which the driver was operating, provides connections from Denver to key mountain destinations, including Frisco, Vail, and Avon, with its terminus in Grand Junction.
A 54-year-old man has been identified as the driver and was taken to the hospital following the crash, as reported by Denver7. Although the severity of his injuries remains unclear, there were no passengers harmed in the accident. After the removal of the wrecked bus, Highway 62 was reopened for traffic.
