According to the information released, the ODNR had already deployed several sonar-equipped boats and additional air and ground resources to scour the lake. Still, their efforts revealed only elusive sonar blips that demanded the specialized skills of the TF-1 Dive Team. The divers, members of the Butler County Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Services (ERS) Unit, were part of Task Force One, lending their expertise in the grim task of recovery.
