
Three masked individuals with firearms stormed a home on the 3900 block of Willow Pond Ct. in Ceres, leaving one man hospitalized. The Ceres Police Department reported that the incident happened at 11:30 PM last Saturday, when the suspects forced three men into the living room and bound their hands.
The suspects, in an effort to subdue the 47-year-old homeowner, repeatedly struck him, as disclosed by the Ceres Police Department. Before making their escape, they rummaged through the home, taking an undetermined sum of cash along with firearms. Transported to a local hospital, the homeowner was treated for minor injuries inflicted during the attack.
The motive behind the crime remains unclear, with the home’s selection still undetermined. The Ceres Police Department is exploring all possibilities and actively investigating.
