The city braces for a dynamic set of weather changes. Starting with a reasonably calm St. Patrick's Day, the week is expected to spiral into a medley of sunshine, warmth, possible thunderstorms, and even another brush with winter as snow makes a potential comeback. Fox 32 Meteorologist Mike Caplan, paints the picture of a mild day to kick things off, with today's sunshine reaching into the low to mid-50s and wind gusts brushing up to 25 mph.
Moving into tonight, the city is slated to cool down to the upper 30s to low 40s, under what Caplan describes as "moonlit skies." Tomorrow promises to quickly amp up the heat, potentially soaring to the lower 70s despite a veil of high thin clouds. However, Wednesday is expected to unfold featuring very windy conditions and the possibility of seeing thunderstorms dominate the day's narrative.
By Thursday morning, clear skies and merciful highs in the 40s are predicted. This forecast comes from the National Weather Service, which also mentions a 20 percent chance of residual snow showers before 1 pm. The latter part of the week doesn't offer much respite from precipitation, with another chance for rain rolling in Friday night into Saturday.
