The Clermont Police Department is fervently searching for a 17-year-old boy, D'Anthony Shamari Smith, nearly one week after he vanished from his aunt's home in Clermont. According to FOX 35 Orlando, D'Anthony was last seen on the 200 block of Rob Roy Drive last Friday.
As the community anxiously awaits any news regarding D'Anthony's whereabouts, details about what he might have been wearing at the time of his disappearance remain unclear due to the absence of witnesses. Notwithstanding, D'Anthony is a Black male with brown eyes and brown/red hair, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs approximately 130 pounds. Officials disclosed that the teen attends South Lake High School in Lake County.
Unraveling this mysterious case, authorities noted that D'Anthony was active on social media on Monday, possibly suggesting his safety among friends. Recognizing D'Anthony's online activity, the police are expanding their investigation to encompass digital footprints that could potentially lead to the teen's location.
