The Collierville Police Department is diligently investigating reports of potential drink tampering incidents at two local restaurants, with four separate accounts currently being scrutinized. As reported by Action News 5, the establishments in question are Frida’s, nestled within Carriage Crossing, and Casa Mexicana, situated on South Houston Levee Road. At this juncture, the intricacies of the allegations elude the public.
Amidst this backdrop of concern, the restaurants embroiled in the investigation are said to be fully cooperative, even submitting their surveillance footage to expedite the inquiry. A troubling twist reveals, as WREG reports, a Cordova man linking these alleged occurrences to a heartrending personal loss: his wife, who dined at Casa Mexicana and afterward was discovered deceased in a sizable retention pond. Although the connection between her untimely demise and the reports of drink tampering remains unconfirmed, the police admit to receiving a complaint on the same night, entailing a possible drugging incident at the aforementioned restaurant.
As per FOX13 Memphis, Collierville police remain resolute in their investigation, asserting that no criminal incidents have been verified thus far. They continue meticulously analyzing test results while balancing the gravity of the allegations and the search for concrete evidence.
