A tragic series of events unfolded in Burlingame earlier this week when a woman from Daly City was killed in a hit-and-run collision. The Burlingame Police Department posted on their official Facebook page that they responded to the incident at the intersection of Trousdale Drive and El Camino Real around 6:09 a.m. on Tuesday.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a female victim who had been struck by a vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, a male from Millbrae, was located by law enforcement after what was described as "an extensive investigation." The Burlingame Police Department has not yet provided details on what led to the identification and arrest of the individual. However, they extend "heartfelt condolences to the victim's family" and emphasize their commitment to "ensuring the safety of our community".
