DeKalb County residents should be aware of changes to polling locations for the June 17 Special Primary. The DeKalb County Board of Registration and Elections approved the changes at a meeting earlier this month. While most of the changes are temporary and will revert before the November 4, elections, one change is permanent.

According to the DeKalb County release, voters in the Stone Mountain and Cross Keys precincts will have new, temporary polling stations. Stone Mountain Elementary, Stone Mountain, and Stone Mountain Champion precincts will vote at Georgia Military College. Cross Keys High and Woodward precincts will vote at Woodward Elementary School.

Other changes include the relocation of Livsey Elementary Precinct to Midvale Elementary School, Montclair Elementary Precinct to Briarwood Recreation Center, and Kittredge Elementary Precinct from Cary Reynolds Elementary to Montgomery Elementary School.

The Dresden Elementary Precinct will permanently move from Dresden Elementary School to John Robert Lewis Elementary School to improve the voting process.

Voters are encouraged to check their polling location ahead of the June 17 election. More details are available on the DeKalb County government website, or by calling (404) 298-4020. Updates are also shared on Twitter and Facebook at @DeKalbVotes.
