According to the Delaware State Police, the robbery took place on August 5, 2024, at 10:45 a.m. when a man entered the M&T Bank at 3530 Philadelphia Pike, handed a demand note to a teller, and successfully stole an undisclosed amount of cash. Police initially searched the area but were unable to apprehend the suspect that day.

During the investigation, Troop 2 Robbery Detectives identified Gregory Davis as the suspect and have since obtained an arrest warrant for him on multiple felony charges.
