Delaware State Police are asking for public help in locating Gregory Davis, a 66-year-old man from Wilmington, who is believed to be behind a bank robbery in Claymont. The robbery occurred at the M&T Bank in August, and after months of investigation, detectives are increasing efforts to find him.
According to the Delaware State Police, the robbery took place on August 5, 2024, at 10:45 a.m. when a man entered the M&T Bank at 3530 Philadelphia Pike, handed a demand note to a teller, and successfully stole an undisclosed amount of cash. Police initially searched the area but were unable to apprehend the suspect that day.
During the investigation, Troop 2 Robbery Detectives identified Gregory Davis as the suspect and have since obtained an arrest warrant for him on multiple felony charges.
