If you’re a young person in Douglas County looking for a job or a parent seeking family support, mark your calendar for March 22 from 10 AM to 1 PM. The Stronger Together: A Youth and Family Services Discussion & Youth Job Fair event is set to serve the community's needs.
According to the Douglas County website, the event will take place at 1000 Simeon Springer Court in Douglasville, GA, and will feature a panel Q&A discussion with key figures in youth and court services. Panelists will include judges, law enforcement officials, juvenile program representatives, the juvenile public defender, school officials, treatment providers, and District Attorney’s Office members. The discussion offers an opportunity to engage and ask questions on how these services can support youth and families.
Additionally, the event will host a Youth Job Fair where employers will be scouting for new talent. Young job seekers can pass out resumes and secure interviews, while parents can attend the panel discussion to gather useful information.
Community members interested in submitting questions beforehand can reach out to Jennifer King at [email protected]. For more details, visit the Douglas County government announcement.
