
El Paso residents can look forward to clear skies and a pleasant increase in temperatures over the next week according to the latest update from the National Weather Service. The city woke up to fair conditions this morning with temperatures at a cool 49°F and calm winds.
The National Weather Service forecast predicts a sunny day today with an expected high of 62°F, the north-northwest wind blowing at a brisk 11 to 17 mph, sunny skies are also in store for Thursday, with an even warmer high near 70°F and similarly pleasant conditions expected to extend into the weekend, with temperatures slated to soar up to the 80s, the clear trend may just mark the beginning of a warm spring season.
As nighttime approaches, residents can expect mostly clear conditions, with the low dropping to around 36°F this evening, while the wind shifts from the northwest to the east. The consistency in calm evenings will continue, with night temperatures hovering in the comfortable 40s heading into the weekend.
Outdoor enthusiasts can make plans for the weekend as uninterrupted sunshine will carry through, with the high on Friday hitting nearly 77°F and rising to around 80°F by Saturday, meanwhile, winds are projected to increase over the weekend, they could reach gusts as high as 26 mph during the warmer part of the day which should take note if you're planning on outdoor activities that may be impacted by wind conditions, according to the National Weather Service.
Looking ahead to next week, the optimism in El Paso's weather brigade continues unabashed with the NWS promising more sunny skies and daily highs steadily climbing, starting at around 81°F on Monday and ticking upward to a high near 85°F on Tuesday. True to the pattern, the nights remain mostly clear and mild, thus further cementing the fair weather phase the region is currently relishing in.
