
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, 25, from White Plains, Greene County, Georgia, for improper sexual conduct with a student. Brown, a former teacher, has been charged with Improper Sexual Contact by an Employee, Agent, or Foster Parent. The charges are related to her time as an educator, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The Greene County Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on June 14, 2024, after receiving allegations of sexual contact between Brown and a student at Nathanael Greene Academy in Siloam, Georgia. The investigation confirmed the incidents occurred while Brown was teaching at the academy. At the time of her arrest, she was working in Wilkes County. Brown was arrested and is currently held at the Greene County Sheriff's Office Jail.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is continuing its investigation into the case and is asking for community help. People with information can contact the Greene County Sheriff’s Office at 706-453-3351, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation office in Milledgeville at 478-445-4173, or submit anonymous tips via a toll-free number, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation tip center, or the See Something, Send Something app. Once the investigation is complete, the findings will be sent to the Ocmulgee District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
