Georgians are invited to participate in a public hearing hosted by the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) on March 17, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Eastern Time. The hearing will discuss the proposed extension of the Georgia Pathways to Coverage 1115 Demonstration Waiver, which impacts Medicaid coverage, including eligibility and benefits.
According to the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) website, the in-person meeting will be held at the State Office of Rural Health, located at 502 S. 7th Street in Cordele, Georgia. For those unable to attend in person, the meeting will also be available virtually via Zoom.
This hearing follows the DCH's request to extend the current waiver, which would allow for continued changes to Georgia’s Medicaid program under the Section 1115 demonstration. A public notice with additional details on the proposed changes is available on Georgia Department of Community Health's website.
