The Hayward Police Department is currently investigating the fatal shooting of an unidentified male victim. According to a news release, just after 9 p.m. last Saturday, the grim scene unfolded on the 22000 block of Mission Boulevard.
Responding officers found the man, his age not disclosed, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the man's injuries proved fatal. He was pronounced dead on the spot.
