A Kirkland man was taken into custody in Belltown, Seattle, following multiple observations of him allegedly engaging in the sale of illegal narcotics. The arrest, which transpired last Wednesday, was a joint effort between Narcotics Unit detectives, the Community Response Group, and West Precinct officers, according to a release from the Seattle Police Department.
Upon his arrest on the 2300 block of Elliott Avenue, authorities swiftly executed search warrants on both his vehicle and his Kirkland residence. The searches yielded substantial quantities of drugs and money. Police managed to find and seize 102.1 grams of Fentanyl, 175 grams of Cocaine, 65.7 grams of Crack Cocaine, and $4600 in cash, as detailed by the Seattle Police Department. These discoveries provided the necessary evidence to book the Kirkland man on charges related to narcotics sales and delivery, including the intention to distribute.
Investigators had been tracking the suspect's movements for some time and had identified him as a "constant problem" in the Belltown area. "He regularly drove to the neighborhood to sell cocaine," the SPD outlined. The arrest is part of an ongoing effort to address drug-related crime in Seattle. Following the operation, the suspect was transported to and booked into the King County Jail.
