Major Crimes Detectives and Forensic Units are all united in their search for clarity amidst chaos. "These types of incidents are difficult for families, the officers, and all the first responders involved. Please keep them in your thoughts," implored the Sheriff's Office in a social media post that was also covered by Facebook.
As part of the ongoing inquiry, the Knox County Medical Examiner's Office was also summoned to the scene. As reported by WBIR, the Sheriff's Office has reached out to the public, noting that while the investigation continues, the flow of emergency equipment in and out of the apartment complex will be noticeable as they work tirelessly to process the scene and conduct essential interviews.
