The Knoxville Police Department has arrested 31-year-old Jeffrey Edwards, who was wanted on multiple charges, including aggravated domestic assault and evasion of arrest. The department had previously asked the public for help in locating him, sharing details of his outstanding warrants.
According to a Facebook post from the Knoxville Police Department, Edwards was wanted for a domestic assault incident in January, another similar charge from August 2024, and for evading arrest. Authorities had encouraged people with information to contact East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers, offering anonymity and a cash reward.
It is unclear whether a tip led to his arrest or if officers found him through other means.
