A tragic event unfolded in Knoxville as a 16-year-old boy lost his life in a shooting incident, reported by the Knoxville Police Department. According to a post from the department's Facebook page, the shooting occurred around 12:15 a.m. on Louise Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the teenager, injured from at least one gunshot, in the backyard of a home.
Police efforts to save the teenage boy's life were unsuccessful. Despite administering life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead at the crime site, as stated by WATE.
